Ambulances and Vehicles
Northern Garrett County Rescue Squad, Inc. owns, operates, and maintains five (5) ambulances and one (1) chase vehicle that are available for use by county employees. These vehicles are maintained, are clean, and are in sound mechanical and body condition. The vehicles receive regular service and maintenance checks and pass an annual Maryland DOT inspection. All of these ambulances are ALS certified; they passed the Maryland Voluntary Ambulance Inspection on August 21, 2007 and received the Seal of Excellence Award. The ambulances are as follows:

Northern Rescue also owns and operates a trailer that is equipped to handle a small disaster/MCI incident in any part of Garrett County.
All the above listed ambulances have adequate space for one (1) stretcher and two (2) providers. There is sufficient space to perform patient care activities.
Northern Garrett County Rescue Squad, Inc. carries full coverage insurance on all the vehicles the company owns.
